Slaap kindje slaap...

Brian en ik zijn allebei geboren in het ziekenhuis, en allebei moesten we er een tijdje blijven voordat we eindelijk naar huis mochten. Deze foto's zijn gemaakt op onze allereerste dag thuis. Voor mij was dat na bijna 3 maanden, voor Brian na bijna 3 weken.

Me and my son Brian are both born at the hospital, and we both had to stay there for a while before we were strong enough to go home.  Brian had to stay there for about 3 weeks, my parents had to wait for almost 3 months to bring me home... These photo's are taken on our first day at home.
I don't remember the songs my mom sang to me as a child, but I guess it must have been  'sleep baby sleep' the traditional lullaby all parents sing to their new born children.

De kranen van de nieuwbouw van 'ons' nieuwe stadskantoor bij Utrecht CS, tegen een strakblauwe lucht.
In 2030 moet de hele handel: een draak van een OV terminal, een nieuw Muziekcentrum met de oude grote Vredenburgzaal die gelukkig behouden is gebleven en dit ehh... ding,  klaar zijn.
Maar voorlopig is het nog een enorme puinzooi rond CS.

De meeste dessinpapiertjes zijn gemaakt van de binnenkanten van enveloppen.


Since a few years Utrecht Central Station is a mess... They are constructing a whole new terminal for the trains, busses and trams, a new Music Hall for concerts and a new officebuilding for the local government (the ugly thing on the photo). It should be finished in 2030.

Most of the 'designpapers' I used are made of some insides of envelopes ...
